The Lanhydrock Estate Company (‘Lanhydrock Estate’) is a family owned private Estate owning, running or managing land retained by the family after the House and grounds were gifted by the Robartes family to the National Trust in 1953.
The Lanhydrock Estate Company, established in 1934, consists today of a variety of business entities owning, running or managing farm land, buildings, houses and offices over some 2500 acres in Lanhydrock and the surrounding area.
Historically Lanhydrock Estate simply managed it’s landholding assets. However, more recently the focus has shifted to a programme of retaining and enhancing Lanhydrock Estate’s assets wherever possible.
Lanhydrock Estate has adopted a committed investment programme by investing in capital projects to rejuvenate traditional redundant farm buildings and convert them into rural offices and storage facilities. Lanhydrock Estate’s mission statement is to look to the future, retain and enhance its land holding while adopting a sustainable development strategy
